About the event
From holiday feasts to backyard BBQs, this 3-hour workshop is designed to help young people, ages 6-14, navigate a variety of dining situations with confidence and ease.
In today’s fast-paced world, where meals are often rushed between sports and homework, the tradition of gathering with family and friends around the table is more meaningful than ever. This workshop focuses on practical, modern etiquette that makes everyone feel welcome and included.
Participants will learn key table manners and dining etiquette, including how to set the table, use utensils properly, handle food, and be a gracious guest. At the end of the workshop, students will put their new skills into practice by breaking bread together over a delicious four-course, home-cooked meal.
Typically held exclusively for members of Austin’s Westwood Country Club and other private club communities, this small-group event, with 8 participants max, is a rare opportunity.
