Breaking Bread: Littles
A workshop for our littlest of learners on table manners, dining etiquette, and gracious guest guidelines.

Private Residence, Lakeway, TX, USA
About the event
From backyard BBQs to lavish family feasts, this 3-hour course for young people ages 6-12 introduces the basics of table manners, dining etiquette, and gracious guest guidelines.
Not your grandma's finishing school, this workshop challenges the notion that good manners are rigid rules for lah-tee-dah debutantes. Instead, it shows how they are relevant in everyday life, regardless of where we come from, and are important for building relationships and strengthening connections.
Like our original Breaking Bread workshop, Breaking Bread: Littles takes a modern approach to dining etiquette but is tailored to a younger audience. We focus on making mealtimes a positive experience where participants can practice important life skills like patience, respect, and self-control.
During this workshop, we will cover essential table manners and dining etiquette, including table settings, proper utensil usage, food handling, and the role of a gracious guest. The workshop culminates in a shared meal, where participants "break bread" together and put their new skills into practice over a delicious 4-course home-cooked meal.
